ROCK CLIMBING IN CRIMEA (UKRAINE)

| In Crimean peninsula (Crimea) there are at least 11 rather big rock climbing sites with fully equipped routes grading from 4 to 9a, according to climbing grades. Most popular sites situated in the area of Great Yalta (from Foros to Krasnokamenka). So it's convenient to stay in one of Yalta's hotel and go for one-day climbing in different sites. Most of routes are about 7a. The climate in Crimea allows to climb from April to November. Below are shown seven of climbing sites, which are rather popular. |
