| The Black Sea is the sea between Europe and Asia. On the shores of the sea Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey are situated. The Black sea is connected with the Azov sea, the Aegean sea and then with the Mediterranean sea. It is 2.211 m. by depth, and its smallest meridian size is 263 km. The Crimea is the peninsula which protrudes from the north to the sea. There are lots of resorts on the shore here. There are so-called Southern coast of Crimea where beaches are pebbled, the water is clear and deep; also Oriental Crimea where waters are not so deep; and at last so-called West and East of the Crimea beaches are sandy and waters are shallow. |
