2-day hiking tour: the Grand Canyon of Crimea + Cave towns. Program 2010

This hiking tour preplanned from Yalta to Yalta. To start/finish in any other city is possible. I can take from 1 to 8 persons.

Short description of tour:

Accommodation: spend a night in village in house of inhabitants. See the life of ordinary Ukrainian people & enjoy the best traditions of Ukrainian hospitality.
Food: Home made dinner and breakfast.
What to see: Cave town Eski-Kermen, Active orthodox cave monastery, The Grand Canyon of Crimea.

Price includes: accommodation (rooms for 2), 3-times meals, all entrance fees, my guiding and appropriate car.

Day 1 Cave towns of Crimea

Yalta → Area of Bakhchisarai → Active cave monastery (VI - VIII c.) → Cave town Eski-Kermen → House of inhabitants in a small village

Time: on foot is 6 hours. Distance on foot is 20 km. Vertical ascent/descent 570 m.

Day 2 The Grand Canyon of Crimea

The Great Canyon of Crimea is a Natural Reserve. Walls of the canyon are about 300 m. above the level of its bottom. Highest cliff is about 900m. above sea level.

House, where we stayed for a night → Main chain of Crimean mountains → Grand Canyon → Yalta

Time: on foot is 6 hours. Distance on foot is 16 km. Vertical ascent/descent 860 m.
